Rudraksh

Once Lord Shiva closed his eyes to meditate for the welfare of this world. After several years he opened his eyes. Suddenly some tear drops fall down to the earth through which a divine plant was created named RUDRAKSH. Wherever the drops were fallen Rudraksh plant was grown. After it was converted to a tree, some strange fruits were seen on it's branches which was known as Rudraksh or the Rudra breed. Lord Shiva loved it a lot and at first he wore the garland of Rudraksh. He narrated the importance of Rudraksh, explained the types of Rudraksh and gave permission to wear it with respect and devotion, for each and every human. It was his pity upon us so he created Rudraksh for our welfare. It's a holy history based on Vedic texts (Puranas). Now let's focus on other facts after knowing it's history in brief.

             By the base of above mentioned matter, Rudraksh is supposed to be very holy and beneficial for it's wearer. It has a great spiritual value on the way of devotion. One who wears it with faith can get rid of sins. Also he gains positive powers which break downs the evil energies. Lord Shiva bless him and gives protection all over his life as well as salvation after death. It's the fact described on Vedic holy texts. Normally above mentioned lines are it's benefits. Beside that, it has an ability to control blood pressure. Several people are using it and are getting good health. 

         

    ln Hinduism it is accepted as a holy ornament. From the outer structure every breeds of Rudraksh looks same but they are different in shape, size and colour. Also there is difference of separate lines made on each and every breed. By the lines the breeds have different types of importance and price value. These breeds are from 1 mukhi (lined) to 14 mukhi (lined) according to Shiva Maha Puran and Devi Bhagwat Maha Puran. But in present, Rudraksh breeds are found more than 14 mukhi (lined). Mean to say that, the breeds having more lines on it are also found. Each lined Rudraksh has it's separate ruling lord and planet which helps to get the bless of related God and control the negative effect of related planet. 

 

 Thus, Rudra breed (Rudraksh) which is named on Lord Shiva and was created by Lord Shiva is a boon to mankind. Rudra means Shiva and aksh means tear. We can use it for our good health, spiritual progress and good fortune. Although it has lots of benefits we've explained very few. Though we new the main facts.
